Girl Meets Boy...in China

Despite spending the entire first year of business school in next door classrooms, we had to go all the way to China on a USC Marshall business school trip to finally meet. That is where Allie challenged Robert - and any other takers - to a dumpling eating contest . While Robert declined the first invitation, luckily for these two soulmates, the fledgling friendship did not end there. Later that day, he learned that she was continuing to travel on to Thailand and he was excited to share his experiences traveling around Southeast Asia. His interest was definitely piqued. A most fitting first encounter for a pair that would go on to travel together to Cuba, Mexico, Ireland, Belgium, Turkey, Hungary, Tahiti, Panama, and the Dominican Republic...so far.

Getting to Tahiti

We know that traveling to Tahiti is far and exotic - so we have made it easy for our guests. Custom Tahiti Travel is our travel agent and we strongly recommend all guests to book with them. Flights to Tahiti

There are daily direct flights from LAX to PPT Papeete (Tahiti) on Air Tahiti Nui and Air France.

www.airtahitinui.com and www.airfrance.com. Airline miles are accepted - American Airlines and Delta Airline programs are popular. Air Tahiti Nui has a 5 day special discount package from LAX.

The Bride and Groom are traveling June 17 - July 2 to Tahiti. Guests are welcome to come early and/or stay late with us in Tahiti. We expect this to be a vacation and are looking forward to celebrating with you!

Transportation to Moorea

Moorea is a short 10 minute flight or a 30 minute ferry ride from where the International Flights land on Papeete, Tahiti. Booking through Custom Tahiti Travel you will have the transportation to Moorea included. Otherwise, you will have to book separately - www.airtahiti.com and www.aremiti.net.

Accommodation

The wedding party is staying at the Hotel Sofitel Moorea and we encourage all guests to stay here with us. Transportation on the island is very limited so transfers between hotels will be difficult. There are a few close AirBnB houses available. If you are interested in this option - we can send you the recommended places. The Bride and Groom are staying June 22-26 at the Sofitel Moorea. From June 18 - June 22 we are at Villa Marama. The Bride and Groom have not set their plans yet for the week after the wedding - they are thinking of going island hopping and welcome all friends who want to travel with them! If you would like to travel together, please reach out!

Getting around Moorea

"Transportation will be provided from the Sofitel to all wedding events outside of the Sofitel. Through the Sofitel, rental cars, scooters and ATV's are available. Many restaurants on the island will provide transportation to and from dinner.
