Additional Activities

There is an activities desk on the beach at the Sofitel that will arrange most water activities, including: Scuba, snorkeling, and the famous (and extremely recommended) Lagoonarium. Most of the boat activities and tours on the island can be booked here and will pick you up from the Sofitel dock.
Le Jardin Spa and Beauty: full service spa; appointments can be pre-booked, email lejardin@onesoulspa.com.

There will be masks, snorkels, fins, bicycles, and stand-up paddle boards available to the wedding group free of charge. Full face snorkel masks (the Bride loves these!) are available for rent.

Contact Info for the Dive Shop: iaoradiving@mail.pf; www.iaoradiving.com; +689.563.578 - 13 11 (Introductory Dive; Night Dive; Certification Snorkeling, as well as Reef Adventure and Semi Submarine.)

Fishing and surfing will have to be arranged separately. Please let Robert know if you are interested and we will help coordinate.

Island Tour of Moorea, visit the bays, play with the rays, swim with the sharks: www.catamaran-polynesie.com; or email felix.patrick@mail.pf to arrange.

Manutea Liquor Distillery: this will require a car or scooter to get to, only a few minutes away. They do not have a tour available but you can taste pineapple wine and liquors and they have a great gift shop.

The hotel does not have a fitness center, but you can certainly swim laps in the lagoon or the front desk can provide a map for a run around the island. Just be sure to bring water! Hiking is another great option for exercise.

There is a golf course near the Sofitel - if you are interested in golf, please reach out to Robert and he can help coordinate.

Remember to Pack!

-
Passport! Check to make sure it doesn't expire within 6 months of travel.
-
Water Shoes, Rash Guard and sunscreen to protect from the reef and the sun.
-
Travel adapters - European.
-
Pineapples are the motif of our wedding - if you have any pineapple attire or accessories, please join in the fun!

Restaurants
There are a few clusters of restaurants around the island and all require a car (or scooter) to get to. Most of the finer places will pick you up at the hotel or villa (and some will deliver, such as Allo Pizza - a favorite of the bride's! Though no Deep Dish yet...) The concierge at the hotel can help arrange dinner reservations and transportation.

We are so excited and happy that you can join us to celebrate our wedding! Any questions at all - please do not hesitate to reach out. We are happy to help make this a wonderful vacation for all our friends and family!
